Cancellation and refund conditions V.2 for the winter sport school at the St. Corona am Wechsel.

The following cancellation conditions apply to services from the winter sports school at the Family Skiland St. Corona am Wechsel:

A refund of services that are already provided is only issued in case of injury or illness (with the exception of illness due to Covid-19) if a doctor’s report is submitted.

In the case of services that have been received, only a differential amount is refunded. No refunds are given if there is a no-show at the reserved time and no reasons are given for absence. Refunds are generally given in the form of vouchers.

Cancellation policy

Up to 7 days before the service date:

the full total (for all services) is refunded

Up to 3 days before the service date:

the full total (for all services) is refunded minus a processing fee of €20.

Less than 3 days before the service date:

no refund

(if a written medical report is submitted then the fill amount is refunded minus a processing fee of €20).

If the course is terminated whilst ongoing:

an aliquot refund is issued only after checking if it is possible to rebook the course, and is only offered in the form of vouchers minus a processing fee of €20. Course terminations are only taken into account if these are made clear directly after termination in the ski school office on site and that this is approved.

Termination in the first 30 minutes on the first day

If terminated on the first day of the course up to 30 minutes after the lesson has started, then a course can be rebooked without any charges or an aliquot refund of 80% of the course costs.

Cancellation on the second day

If cancellation of the course is on the second day, then an aliquot refund of 50% of the course costs will be issued.

Cancellation is on the third or fourth day

If the cancellation is on the third or fourth day of the course: no refund

Cancellation conditions

Cancellations of fixed private lessons must be made known 48 hours before the start of the lesson at the very earliest. Later cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full amount. In case of illness, submission of a written medical report means a full refund will be issued, minus a processing fee of €20. No refunds can be issued without submission of a doctor’s report.

Goodwill in the case of private lessons for children: Services provided are refunded in the form of vouchers if the option for rebooking the course cannot be used and the cancellation is within 5 minutes of the start of the lesson.

General information regarding cancellations and refunds:

Cancellations due to the weather are not permissible under any circumstances. Lessons take place in all weather conditions. Only a weather-related failure of the lifts results in cancellation of course units and is accepted for requesting payment of the course fees in the form of aliquot refunds.

Ski school lift passes and lift tickets that have already been paid for are not refunded if the course is terminated.

A group course can be cancelled by the ski school if there are too few participants. Cancellations will be announced 48 hours before the start of the course at the latest. If it is not possible to change the dates then the full total of all services reserved will be refunded via the original means of payment.

Special rules due to Covid-19

Suspected case in the family:

All payments made are refunded in the form of vouchers if there is a valid and official request to self-isolate.

If a potential case or an illness due to Covid-19 occurs during the course:

The affected child must leave and cancel the course. Payments made for the course are refunded in the form of aliquot refunds if a valid and official request to self-isolate is submitted.

Officially stipulated measures lead to cancellation of the course:

If new rules are issued by the federal government that force courses to be cancelled or lifts to be closed then an aliquot refund will be automatically issued.
